Crap Comix has been relocated to Crap Comix Classic.

Crap Comix: The Next Generation is actively recruiting a comic artist. This artist will be responsible for turning the written script into an actual comic, and should (after a short initial learning curve) be able to complete at least one such strip at final production quality in a day.

The interview process is expected to take no more than one week. The artist should be prepared to produce acceptable character designs and at least ten (preferably twenty) finished production-quality strips within two weeks of selection, and to maintain at least an eight-strip per week pace until a twenty strip "workahead buffer" is ready for publication.

This is a partnership position, not a commission, and the artist will share equally in all revenue generated from the site. Similarly, the artist is expected to participate in the development of the comic, the website, and the business. This is purely a sweat-for-equity position. The artist will not be asked or expected to invest any actual money in the launch of the strip.

Web design skills would be nice. I can write code, but I'm not an artist. Applicants may earn extra credit by knowing how to make this proposed site layout look good in Firefox and Opera, and by knowing how to get rid of the little white line that appears over this block of content in IE7. Safari can piss off, because Macs are for faggots. (If you can make the site look good on a Mac, great. If you can make it look good on an iPhone, you're a nerd.)

Crap Comix: The Next Generation is expected to attract a large audience in the 20-35 age bracket, with the largest influx roughly ten weeks after launch. Potential sponsors may want to arrange their ad placement sooner rather than later.

New developments on the site!
